Directions
The Bridge Hotel is situated in the English Lage Disctrict and is easily found. The Lake District is located in the North West of England, and is easily accessable from the M6 (Junction 40 - Penrith).
After taking the A66 around Keswick, avoiding the town center, turn off at Braithwaite and take either Newlands or Whinlatter Pass depending upon the weather conditions. Newlands brings you directly into Buttermere and the hotel. Whinlatter brings you into Lorton on the road from Cockermouth where you can pick up the signs for Buttermere.
