| Whinlatter Forest Visitor Centre |
The Whinlatter Visitor Centre is at the heart of England's only Mountain Forest Park.
The Visitor Centre is the start point for your adventure in the Mountains. From here you can escape into the trees on their Go Ape course or test your skill on the Altura Mountain Bike trail which takes you high into the mountains along purpose built single track. Alternatively try the easier Red Graded Quercus Mountain Bike Trail with its sweeping rides and boarded sections.
The Visitor Centre staff can provide you with details of a range of walking routes and the shop offers gifts and reminders as well as maps.
