How would you like to spend Christmas in The Lake District? Come to Buttermere and be treated in one of Britain’s most scenic Valleys. A traditionally warm and friendly welcome awaits you for the Festive Season. Our three day Dinner, Bed and Breakfast Christmas package is listed below. We welcome you to extend your stay before Christmas from as little as £65.00 (Bed and Breakfast) per person per night.

Please note, we do require a non-refundable/transferable deposit of £200.00 per person.

WHAT WE DID IN 2019 – WE EXPECT MOSTLY THE SAME FOR 2020

24th December 2019:

After a warm welcome you can enjoy a three course a la carte dinner served in the Dining Room from 6pm to 8.30pm.
Complimentary tea or coffee will be served in front of the log fire in the Residents lounge, giving you the chance to meet our other guests and reacquainting with old friends.

25th December:

Merry Christmas! We look forward to greeting you in the foyer before you enjoy a hearty full Cumbrian breakfast to put you in good stead for the day. Whether you are planning a full on hike, a brisk walk around the lake or just to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Hotel, breakfast is a must!
Join us for complimentary tea, coffee and mince pies in the Residents lounge during the afternoon. Relax by the fire knowing that our team are preparing your evening meal and assisting you with any requests you may have. Having no TVs in the Hotel means you able to relax and enjoy your afternoon.
We would be charmed for your company once again for a pre-dinner champagne and canape reception.
Complete your indulgence by enjoying a four-course Christmas Dinner at 7:00 pm in the Dining Room, followed by tea or coffee in the Residents lounge.

26th December:

Welcome Boxing Day with a full Cumbrian breakfast, or if Christmas Day has expanded your waistline you can enjoy a lighter option of our delicious House Special (Greek yoghurt with Bridge Hotel secret additions with fruit berry compote and layers of muesli) or salmon with free range scrambled eggs.
After a leisurely morning you can look forward to complimentary tea, coffee and mince pies in the Residents lounge during the afternoon.
A four course Boxing Day Dinner awaits you in the Dining Room with lighter options available to suit all palates.

27th December:

One last breakfast to squeeze in before you prepare to make your homeward journey. We will be sad to see you leave, and thank you for choosing The Bridge Hotel to spend your Christmas. We would be honoured to offer you a room for 2020 with no upfront payment until the following year.
