Farm Cottage,  4 Star - AA & Visit Britain

This beautiful cottage is situated at the foot of Grassmoor, on the Proprietor's farm some three miles from the hotel.

The recently renovated 17th century cottage is full of character and charm, has its own garden and ample parking space. We regret that it is not suitable for wheelchairs nor can we accept dogs as it is a working hill farm.

The ground floor consists of a comfortably furnished sitting room with terrestrial t.v (no satellite) DVD player, payphone and woodburning stove for which logs are provided. There is a dining area with fully equipped kitchen.

The upper floor is reached by two short flights of stairs, off the first of which is a twin-bedded room. The second leads to a galleried landing off which are the bathroom, airing cupboard and double bedroom. All beds have duvets. There is electric central heating, fire doors and smoke alarms.
