Are you open all year?
We are open for 49 weeks of the year, and are closed from 3rd January 2017 and will re-open on the 27th January 2017. During this time we operate a limited reception service so please feel free to book online or leave us a voicemail.
Are you dog friendly?
Yes, we are! In fact, we are the only doggy friendly Hotel in Buttermere. All of our Standard rooms
in the hotel, one of each type of our apartments (large and small),our Walker`s Bar and Reception area are dog friendly.
Do you serve food all day?
Yes, we do. We serve from 9:00am to 9:30pm. We serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, Cream tea, tea and
coffee are available as well.
Do I need to book a table in the bar?
We apologise, but we do not take reservations in the bar area. We operate on a first come, first served basis.
The Hotel Restaurant is open for bookings in the evenings from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. You can enquire via email or call the hotel any time.
What is the best way to get to you?
We recommend coming through the Cockermouth, Lorton way. Unfortunately we are unable to provide highway information
other than the route we take to work. Please refer to other websites, and plan your journey ahead.
Are you family friendly?
Yes, we are. We have cots and camp beds available in the hotel or self-catering apartments. We also have high-chairs
in the bar.
I made a reservation earlier, can I cancel?

Can you accommodate late arrivals?
Yes, but please notify us in advance and access arrangements can be made
Do you have Wi-Fi?
We offer Wi-Fi in our Resident`s Lounge, Reception and bar area. Due to poor service, there is no Wi-Fi, television
or mobile signal in the bedrooms. Self-Catering apartments are equipped with TV and DVD player.
Do you cater for special dietaries?
Our chefs would be delighted to look after you with your gluten free diet. We also cater for vegetarians. To ensure
that we are prepared please let us know at the time of booking, or call ahead.
Is there a bus to Buttermere?
During the season (Easter until end of October) there is a bus service operating from Keswick to Buttermere. Should you need more information
please download the timetable.
What can I pay with?
We accept all major credit/debit cards apart from American Express. Please note, there is a minimum spend of £10.00 in the bars.
